Last Day of Planning

Friday, July 10th.

Last day of planning. We were at GNAT early and met up with Ernest and told him that there was really no problem with our exchange rate and that the hotel was mistaken. We spent the day fine tuning the PowerPoints. Both Vanda and Obed had problems with their computers, but with a little persistence we have hopefully got it all completed and ready to go. Pascale and I went for a walk off the compound to take a picture of a building that was litterly draped in an art project. Then we headed back to the hotel. It rained for a while this afternoon and it got cooler, so we avoided the pool. We had a couple of drinks and then dinner. After dinner Brenda introduced us to a card game called Anomia which was fun. You had to match symbols on your card and someone else's and then answer one a question on theirs before they answered yours. A great team building evening. I jumped in the pool to cool down before bed.

Found out today that I have been accepted for an exchange to Victoria, Australia!! Melbourne here I come!
