September 1

I was riding about the back highways of Arizona yesterday and I saw lots of school buses driving kids to really remote places... It got me thinking. And today is September 1st and I know where all my teacher friends are, so:

I'd like to wish all my teacher collegues a very successful year. I hope that the rally today was at least somewhat interesting and that you had fun renewing acquaintances. Enjoy and I will be thinking about you (from time to time!). Good luck on Tuesday.

  1. Just so you know, today is super hot and humid, and the long weekend is suppose to be a high of 12 and rainy. So are you missing anything??....ah, not really, so keep on riding and snapping those pictures. Enjoy and stay off the dirt roads.

  2. Hey Joe, well you missed some great singers at the pep rally today: four very talented tenors. Good stuff! As Christopher remarked, it's very hot and humid, especially in our classrooms on the 2nd floor, so that's what you're missing!! Sorry to tell you that I've taken over the WHOLE space of your 'old' classroom, but thanks...it's fantastic! Thinking about us from time to time - yeah, right...I don't believe that for a second!
