Saturday, February 7th.

I spent the morning in my home for the last week catching up on the blog and photos. Then I went down and checked out of the Ezdan Hotel and took a cab to Embassy Suites Hilton to meet my Adventures Abroad group. I checked in as soon as I got there and found I had a really nice suite to myself! I went upstairs and relaxed for a bit in the rooftop pool and hot tub, and then walked over to the Waqif Souk which is closer to this hotel. I had lunch there and then walked back to meet the new group. We had our introductory meeting with our guide, George Alexander, from Britain. Then we walked back to the souk as a group and had our first dinner. Seems like a nice enough group but a bit older than the Explore group. After dinner we just walked back and were in our rooms by eight.
