What to Take and Packing



Well after months of planning, logistics, organizing, meeting up with friends, and sadly attending funerals for two good friends from my high school and university years, the time of departure has arrived. I spent today doing the last minute things including laying everything out that I needed to take. The intention of this trip is to travel for a year and having done this kind of travel once before, the intention is to take as little as possible as it is no fun lugging it all around. 

So, here is a list of all the items I am taking with me.

Bags:

two pair long pants with legs that zip off to make shorts
four dryfit short sleeve shirts
two lite collared safari shirts
five pair of short socks
two pair Tilley underwear

one running windbreaker

150 Malarone pills for malaria
antibiotics for respirtory or intestinal infection

2L and 8L dry bag
