After running the railway trail, we walked into Hamilton and took the ferry to the dockyards at the eastern end of the island. The top photo is of a church on the way to Hamilton and the next is from Hamilton Harbour. The bottom three are of the dockyard complex. This is where the navy was anchored and the sailors and soldiers housed. Today it is a tourist mecca, with souvenir shops, restaurants, and galleries. Nearby is the local prison and a fort.
